We want the Onofriana website to work well with or without assistive technology: a screen reader, the keyboard alone, zoom or larger text.
What we aim to meet
Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2).
How we checked
In October 2026 we checked the main pages in all six languages: with automated tests (axe-core), by measuring colour contrast and by going through them with the keyboard alone, on a computer and on a phone. We fixed what we found.
What you can do here
Use the whole site with the keyboard: the focus is always visible.
Enlarge the text up to 200% without losing content.
Read the site in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, Chinese or Japanese.
Choose your cookies: nothing is measured, and nothing goes to Google, without your permission.
What is still missing
YouTube videos and the Spotify player come from elsewhere: we do not control how they work with assistive technology.
If something does not work for you, write to fado@onofriana.pt or message us on WhatsApp, +351 933 817 536. We will reply, and if the problem is ours, we will fix it.
Statement prepared on 29 October 2026.
Privacy Policy
Onofriana (“we”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Portuguese Law 58/2019 of 8 August.
This policy describes how we collect, use and protect the information gathered through the website onofriana.pt.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Onofriana. To exercise your rights or to raise any question about privacy, you can contact us at fado@onofriana.pt.
2. Data collected
We collect the following types of data:
Data you share with us voluntarily by email (name, contact details, description of your request).
Browsing data collected by cookies and similar technologies (pages visited, length of visit, device type, traffic source, browser language, approximate IP address).
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses cookies to ensure it works properly and to understand how it is used. We classify cookies into three categories:
Essential (always active): required for the basic operation of the site.
Analytics (optional): allow us to measure visits and improve the site. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation.
Marketing (optional): not currently in use, but we reserve this category for future integrations.
You can manage your preferences at any time by clicking “Cookies” in the footer of the site.
4. Purposes of processing
To respond to your request and, where applicable, to prepare proposals or schedule events;
To measure and improve the experience of using the site (only with your consent);
To comply with legal obligations.
5. Lawful basis
Processing is based on your consent (analytics cookies, emails sent voluntarily), on legitimate interests (responding to requests for information) and on legal obligations where applicable.
6. Sharing and international transfers
We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Google Analytics may transfer data to servers located outside the European Economic Area (notably in the United States), under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. Retention
We keep data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for the applicable statutory periods. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default.
8. Your rights
To access, rectify or erase your data;
To restrict or object to processing;
Data portability;
To withdraw consent at any time;
To lodge a complaint with the Portuguese National Data Protection Commission (CNPD — cnpd.pt).
This site embeds content from Spotify (a playlist), which may use its own cookies, subject to Spotify’s privacy policy.
It also includes a YouTube video, which only loads when you click to watch it; from that moment on, Google’s privacy policy applies.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The version in force is always available on this page. Last updated: October 2026. This is a translation; in the event of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
